Qivana is a relatively new MLM company started in early two thousand and nine. They entered the health and wellness arena with a different perspective than most health related MLM companies. Qivana approaches health with the objective of detoxing and cleansing the body first, then administering Chinese herbs and minerals.
Qivana appointed well known naturopathic physician, Dr Marcus Laux as its chief Science Officer, while putting together a Scientific Advisory Board consisting of world renowned doctors and scientists.
Dr. Marcus Laux had an objective early on in his career to be a conventional M.D., but in 1986 when a cardiologist, who made a fatal decision with the treatment of his Dad, Dr. Laux knew that conventional medicine would not be his forte.
Shortly thereafter, while in pre-med, his observations of the use of chemicals in hospitals and money hungry doctors, simply reinforced his thought process, so he decided to be a doctor of naturopathic medicine. Dr. Laux learned early on that naturopathic medicine is by far the safest, most comprehensive natural approach to practicing medicine in humans.
After spending ten yrs. in college & med school, fifteen yrs. in private practice & over twenty yrs. of research, Dr Laux came to this conclusion, because naturopathic medicine searches past the symptoms only, and looks to sources of problems instead.
Qivana was very lucky to get Dr. Laux, but since the company philosophy was also based on promoting balance, detoxing and strength, first and foremost, this was a match made in heaven. Dr. Laux had been engaged with several other great companies, but Qivana had the potential to be so much more, he thought.

Dr. Laux actually is responsible for coining the term "bio identical" in the hormone world with his book, Natural Woman, Natural Menopause (Harper Collins), which alone is responsible for improving the lives of women all around the world.
For 30 years, Dr. Laux has taken the lead in educating people in the natural products industry. He has continued to provide cutting edge education to pharmacists around the world for over twenty yrs.
