Vitamin is Toxic to Cancer

Food is intended to move from ingestion to elimination in around 20 hours as it does with those who eat a natural and raw diet. Compare this to a western diet which has less fiber, and you will find that the transit time of ingested food is around 48 - 72 hours. According to Andrew Saul, PhD, there is a good chance that the longer waste products and toxins stay in the colon, the greater the chance they will be reabsorbed back into the body as toxins.

Dr Saul meets with clients who have terminal cancer and who receive conventional therapy. The advice he gives them is, "You should do everything you possibly can." For all cancer patients he recommends they build their immune system nutritionally and use vitamins that help the body fight the disease. Being malnourished cannot help the body fight cancer. In addition to conventional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, high levels of nutrients are necessary. For cancer patients being treated by chemotherapy, being on a high nutrient diet means they are less likely to lose their hair or their appetite, and probably will not suffer nausea.

This alone is enough reason for every cancer patient and those on therapy to take high doses of vitamins. Dr Saul finds that high doses of vitamin C are as good or better than chemotherapy for treating cancer; the patients feel better and the treatment is less expensive. Nutrient therapy is safe, effective and inexpensive. In fact, Vitamin C at high doses is toxic to cancer cells. He has demonstrated for 30 years that high doses of vitamins greatly improve a cancer patient's quality and length of life. There is a lot of evidence to support the use of high dose nutrient therapy to prevent and treat cancer. We can become our own case manager when it comes to learning how to treat disease and now have high quality and proven information available to us. It is not impossible to learn about your illness or the illness of someone you are caring for. The number one search on the internet is about an illness. Patients are now teaching the doctors about nutrition. Most people you talk to will know more about therapeutic nutrition than doctors do. A terrific precedent was set by Dr Max Gerson, who showed us that fresh juices and fresh food can prevent and reverse cancer. He had a 50% cure rate with terminally ill patients. Medical school does not talk about alternatives.

The most exciting news is that we have access to new evidence that supports how nutrients have a powerful effect on preventing and reversing illness. Hope and attitude are extremely important. Those suffering an illness must want to live a healthy life. When we are presented with the real truth and countless case studies that back it up, it is much easier to improve the patterns of how we live, eat and think.
